The Room of singing sculptures is a place-specific textile/audio installation created in July 2010 for Galleri 21, Malmö. It is a part of a larger exhibition by textile artist/painter/photographer Anna Moberg. The piece is a collaboration between Anna Moberg and Tobias Lilja.

The floor of the room is covered with fabric. From the ceiling hangs six crocheted sculptures with integrated speakers. The sculptures hangs in woven strings that forms a complex web-like pattern. Every sculpture has its own voice and they sing and communicate with each other.

 

The exhibition is taking place during July 16-23, 2010.
